Overall, the piece has a neat look, with the unity of color, and misty details causing a dream-like effect. I like the dark fade-out on the edges. One thing which makes it look like a photomanip, and not like a scene from a dream is that the wolf has no shadow, which makes him look like he was cookie-cuttered in. I don't do photomanip, so I can't really judge whether that's an easy mistake or a hard mistake to fix, and I think in your newer works it's not an issue.
Also, neat how it's lighter in the background that in the front, and also how the path is light, but the surrounding forest darkens quickly. It gives a slight sense of foreboding, if one were to step off the path.
I like how the wolf is not dead center on the path, and I like the feral expression he has.
This piece has the feel of an almost-nightmare, or a soon-t-be nightmare. Very cool. I always admire people who can stick more than one photo together, and make it look like one place. Good job. ~Aya P.S. As you see, I accidentally made this a comment first. this is my first critique, so I'm still getting the hang of it. Sorry.
